ABALONE

The story: Abalones are members of the mollusks family, same as clams, scallops, octopus and squid. The difference however between the abalone and the clams, for example, is that the abalone is covered with a one-piece shell and has respiratory pores on the sides.



Finding abalone in Dubai is neither easy nor cheap. This marine friend is considered a delicacy in most parts of the world and it comes at a high price, regardless if you are on the steak out for the black, flat, green, pink, pinto, red or others.
